The Foundation will solicit, collect and post here articles on research which are helpful to beekeepers, crop pollinators and primary producers. It will also post from time to time articles dealing with policy issues such as access by commercial beekeepers to floral resources; also with biosecurity, pollination, food security and R&D funding.
Priority is currently being given to articles concerned with the following:
- past, current and future stock improvement programs, especially ones relevant to varroa tolerance and disease management
- policy statements dealing with access to floral resources in Queensland, NSW and Victoria
- Biosecurity, stock importation and quarantine facilities
- pollination services
The Foundation welcomes suggestions and/or copies of reports dealing with the above topics; or any other topic that are deemed to be helpful to beekeepers."
